Today we’d like to introduce you to Dawnna St Louis, CEO and Founder Fyrebrand.

It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?

I built a $250M Tech Consultancy Co. after being homeless at 19. My roots are in the technology space. I began as a programmer who went on to be the co-founder of a highly successful International Business Intelligence Consulting firm operating in 25 countries around the world and sold it at 39 for $250 Million. Even though I retired at 39, I started my second career sharing my lessons in Entrepreneurship, Sales, Marketing, Influence, and the Four Principles about 30 days after retirement. I don’t believe in just getting results. I want to help people have transformative results which they can pass on. I am a Sig-sigma black belt, Corporate Sales & Performance Coach. I have created several highly successful methodologies in sales, marketing, entrepreneurship, copywriting, influence, and mindset, that have been nationally adopted and used to help people succeed. Today, 100s of organizations, coaches, experts and executives have tapped our shoulders seeking our knowledge to discover how to lead great ideas into the marketplace.

I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?

Hungry to learn, I dove into mastering computer hardware, enterprise networks, and software programming languages such as C++, Java, and C#. Her knack for converting techno-babble into concepts that business leaders could understand caught the attention of executives, who soon asked for help to solve their communications issues. My ability to speak confidently in public landed my first professional speaking engagement, at 25, before a Congressional Committee for the U.S. District Courts in the Southern District of Florida. My desire to share my personal knowledge and expertise with other entrepreneurs and business leaders led me to branch out on my own and form the highly successful, Miami-based speaking and coaching firm, Fyrebrand. My clients include professional athletes and public figures, as well as C-level executives.

Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?

I work with coaches, experts and executives and help them create memorable, powerful and impactful contribution in the lives of their clients by helping take their high value expertise and convert into high profit businesses. Many coaches, experts and executives already have six-week programs, we help them covert those into six-figure programs. The results never cease to amaze my clients, after our program our clients have higher sales, improved public profiles, and the confidence to deliver a well-developed, powerful marketing message.

What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?

Be decisive. If you want more commas in your bank account, you must remove commas in your expertise. It is not about another certification or class or degree. Focus on the one thing that you love to do and do it. Oh… and stop chasing money. You’ll only catch the weakest dollar. But how can you make a living doing what you love? It’s not impossible, but it is challenging. You’ll likely have to think outside the box and get creative. But if you’re passionate about something, it won’t feel like work. One great way to start making a living from your passion is to teach others what you know. Share your knowledge and expertise with the world, and you may be surprised at how many people are eager to learn from you. Another option is to start your own business. This can be a bit more risky, but it also has the potential for greater rewards. And don’t forget about freelancing – there are always opportunities for talented freelancers in a variety of industries. The most important thing is to start somewhere. Don’t be afraid to take the first step, and keep moving forward until you reach your goals. The sky’s the limit! So, if you’re looking for a little inspiration, don’t forget to check out the stories of at least five inspiring entrepreneurs who followed their passions and achieved great success.

Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?

Success is freedom from colonization. When you have wealth in every aspect of your life you have more choices. The more choices you have, the more freedom you have. You are no longer beholden to anyone or anything else.

What’s next for you?

A way to make the entrepreneurial experience a go to over just getting a job first. I think entrepreneurship makes employees much better at their job. When you’re an entrepreneur, you learn how to work hard and how to be resilient. These are two skills that are essential in the workforce. When you’re an entrepreneur, you also learn how to be creative and how to think outside the box. I think that everyone, while it’s not for all, should try entrepreneurship at some point in their lives. It’s a great way to learn about yourself and to grow as an individual.

Finally, how can people connect with you if they want to learn more.
