Today we’d like to introduce you to Anthony Logan.

It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?

As long as I can remember, I’ve always had a passion for entrepreneurship. I was born and raised in the South Bronx by a single mother during the 80s, surrounded by poverty, addiction and violence. Just watching how hard my mother worked to get us a better life, gave me a new vision and propose, simply to gain financial freedom and stability. So I know firsthand what it means to struggle and survive. Fixated and determined, I started my own business in middle school selling cards, personal items and even my lunch. Throughout high school, business continued to expand due to my efforts. Shortly after graduating, certain circumstances lead me straight into the workforce as a union worker until 09/11 happened. New challenges and obstacles would continue for the next 7 years. With spots, I’ve gained athletic affiliations, and I was able to attended HCCC as a recruit at the age of 24 and soon transferred to Lehigh in 2006. Through these institutions, I discovered e-commerce, business management and other financial elements that’s contributing to my new career. As a result of this journey, I increased my self-awareness and recognized the lack of financial literacy around me, and discovered hidden talents, that intern made me passionate about helping others. I started working on my own finances and credit, soon practicing on my mother and a few friends to now having clients nationwide. I can stand proudly knowing that I have the knowledge and expertise to give back and impact lives.

I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?

Sure enough, I was able to overcome these challenges by investing in personal and professional development. In addition to that, I also had to invest in improving some essential skill sets such as communication and time management. First issue my student loans. To be completely transparent, my biggest challenge that I had to overcome was homelessness. I’d had to sleep in my car while tackling multiple jobs and living arrangements. I lost apartments, relationships, vehicles and even my sanity. Furthermore, I am a testament that there is hope after traumatic circumstances and that life can be rebuilt. You can literally lose everything as I did, but once you have a strong WHY, you can fight back and regain everything you lost. I had to take a step back to reflect, re-group, re-train and re-focus. I wish I knew then what I know now. But I strongly believe I have been put in a position to identify the perfect career path for me, bridging the generational wealth gap.

Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?

I’m a financial coach. I specialize in helping people to repair, rebuild, and restore their credit along with other financial services. Throughout my credit restoration process, I focus a lot on professional development so that I can provide the best quality and offering a wide variety of solutions to help meet their financial goals. Through coaching and mentorship, I’m encouraging them to seek out information as situations presented themselves. Being prepared and knowledgeable is much better than learning by trial and error. My primary focus is to assist families to build their net worth and to understand the benefits of investing in themselves through homeownership. What makes my services unique, is that I am a product of my own strategies and solutions and truly understand what it feels like to be in your shoes. I pride myself on providing excellent customer service with honesty and integrity.

What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?

The best advice I could give a person is to determine what you’re passionate about and educate yourself in that respected field you’re interested in. Set attainable goals, formulate a game plan, be consistent, disciplined and keep God first. Then figure out how to make money doing it. Never let the fear of failure stop you from pursuing your dreams, because the quickest way to fail is not trying at all. Achieving success, for me also means having the right support system in place. Getting mentorship was certainly a game-changer for me.

Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?

Success is building a legacy in how you want to be remembered. Helping others in need and having an inner fulfillment of peace with your past, present and future. One of my mentors once told me, “You only look back to see how far you came.” That one statement changed my whole perspective in life. To me, it’s having a winning mindset at all times and doing what the 99% won’t do. Also, success to me is a way of life, a habit. It’s completing what you started by giving it your all, even if it doesn’t work out the way you planned. “We are not defined by how many times we fall, but rather by how many times we choose to get back up.”

What’s next for you?

I have so many projects in place due to the amazing relationships that I have been privileged with during this amazing journey. There’s a possibility of a book coming out soon. As of right now, I will continue to expand on the multiple investment properties and provide an umbrella of additional financial resources and programs for the less fortunate through a transitional process. My long-term vision for my business and brand is establishing a private practice that focuses on mental health and financial management on a massive scale

Finally, how can people connect with you if they want to learn more.
