It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?

Cherisse K. Jamison better known for her brand ‘Keeping Up With Kells,” is no stranger to the glitz and glamour of entertainment.is an graduate of both Claflin University and Voorhees College, an Award Winning Publicist, a former media personality, full- time entrepreneur, and owner of The Jamison Agency and Keeping Up With Kells Media. Recently, Cherisse has launched Creatives Who Hustle, which is dedicated to uplift and share knowledge, expertise, provide tools, resources and experiences for those inspiring to enter into the entertainment business. Cherisse, officially started The Jamison Agency over two years ago after working on high profile projects such as Boosie Juice Campaign, A Small Problem movie production, All Star 2019 Charlotte, NC, Vibin With Jazzy B Reality TV Based Show , The Miami LIVexperience, FOX Network ‘Shots Fired’ + more. Utilizing her big personality and gift of grab, Cherisse has worked as media covering for numerous of shows and events nationally such as: Black Girls Rock, MTV Music Awards, , Amber Rose Slut Walk, BET ’S Hip Hop Awards/Soul Train Awards, and many more. Aside from journalism and her production credits Cherisse. has also handled various events in the LA, Charlotte, NC, Miami, Fl, and ATL areas. Cherisse, assists with building Small Businesses and providing PR to Organizations, Expos, Conferences, Authors, influencer’s, entertainment individual’s, brands, and Entrepreneurs. I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?

There are a lot of challenges I have overcome along the way such as being a black woman in a male dominant industry. The constant battle of having to prove yourself and that you are capable of doing your job is also something I have to overcome but the one I would say is my proudest accomplishment is dealing with a abusive relationship which highly affected my business

Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?

I am A publicist , the owner of The Jamison Agency, Keeping Up With Kells, and Creatives Who Hustle. My proudest accomplishment and priority business is The Jamison Agency. The Jamison Agency is an Public Relations and Marketing Boutique firm, founded in 2016 after several years of consisted media relations and campaigns. From curating and executing major Entertainment Brands and event productions, talent relations, and logistics we get the job done. We have been publicizing brands, small businesses, and highly influence individuals for over 5 years and we hope to continue doing so.

What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?

My best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life is to just find your passion and what you’re great at and find a way to monetize off of that. Although, to some my career choice Maybe seen as stressful but to me when you’re doing something you love it never feels like work. I have fun, I separate business from personal, and I get to be me which is the last part.

Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?

Success to me is when I’m able to retire and live financially off my investments and business choices I made over the years. Creating generation wealth for myself and my family is very important to me.

What’s next for you?

The Jamison Agency is doing so well
That right now I’m really trying to focus on Creatives Who Hustle now. I want to launch my own skin care line, release a book series, start a non profit organization, and i also want to open up a store front business.
