Today we’d like to introduce you to Deven Powers Mr.Hollywood.

It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?

It’s an honor to be featured God Bless you. My name is Deven “Mr.Hollywood” Powers my father was a Pastor and my mother is a Legendary Gospel singer.

Im the ceo and founder of the Black Film Festival Los Angeles, Discover My Music Radio, MrHollywood Productions, Celebrity Newz Tv, Mr & Ms Hollywood Magazine & the list goes on and on. I’m also The Host of The LA Live Film Festival 2018,2019,2020, & 2021. not to mention lead promotor at Bighouse LA Promotions. I’m also the host of the upcoming tv show The Mr.Hollywood Tv Show coming on Amazon Prime this Spring. I’m The executive producer for the upcoming feature film “The Bad Boyz of Hollywood” which is set for release everywhere spring/ summer of 2021. The film is being Directed by Bryan Cortez and it stars myself Deven Powers, Khalil Kharraz, Aleix Bazzi, Rachele Royale, Chrissy Carpenter, Luca Toumadi & many many more.

I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?

Well, my toughest challenge was when I had to overcome a 10 year prison sentence from ages 19-27 in which I overcame and came out victorious and an overall better person. They’re a lot of obstacles that I had to overcome just make it to this point. I went from being homeless and sleeping on the beach to owning my own 501 c 3 non profit. I went through everything from jealousy to envy to losing friends/ family because of the path that I chose. I have a story to tell i remember years ago the young lady that i was dating at the times stated that she didnt “believe in me or my dreams”. so now 6 years later im living proof that regardless of what people say you can make it

Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?

Well Im an actor the star of The Bad Boyz of Hollywood Feature Film, Im a Tv Journalist for The Mr Hollywood Tv Show & Celebrity Newz Tv Mr & Ms.Hollywood Magazines along with Mr Hollywood Blogs. Im also the ceo and founder of The Black Film Festival Los Angeles. Ive been featured on the covers of Star Central Magazine, Global Millionaire Magazine, Film Central Magazine, The Buzz Magazine, Splash Magazine and Now Stardom 101 magazine I’m also featured in Influential Magazine and Spanish Influential Magazine. I’m also an artist my Smash hit record “I Got California Love” has millions of streams world wide its now available on all streaming platforms

What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?

Keep God 1st and stay prayed up so regardless of what people have to say about you remain focus and unfazed because in this industry it’s always going to be people that say what you can and can’t do with your life just do what your passionate about. You have to believe in your self and Speak it into Existence you have the power of life and death on the tip of your tongue you can create dreams and you can destroy them you manifest it.

Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?

The word Success means Life because the life I live is a successful one. if you the google the word of God if you live accordingly your life was meant for success and abundance thats his promise and hes doing it for me. I can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me. My power and my success comes from who is within so without God their would be no success. I Thank you father for opening up doors.

What’s next for you?

The Bad Boyz of Hollywood Coming Spring Summer of this year. as far as my career is concerned I will become the face of Hollywood one of the biggest actors alive along with becoming the face of Hip Hop and R&B. Lately I’ve been venturing out and become an influencer for several brands.
