Today we’d like to introduce you to Natalie Suero.

It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?

I started participating in small musical projects as an investor and taking my percentages from the digital results such as YouTube and platforms such as iTunes, Spotify etc. . As I saw the digital era become a force that in order to succeed in the music industry we had to jump on that wave of the viral trends, I started investing more in visual projects and less in the audio aspect of things. After many years of learning on the job as I went along and managing many independent artists in the Dominican Republic, I met with Innercat Music Group based in Miami, Florida. Innercat Music Group is a digital distribution company that helps power independent artist careers offering services like, digital marketing and YouTube channel management and optimization and then I created Make Good music together with my Fiancé and the support of Innercat.

I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?

The biggest challenge I have had to overcome is dealing with deadlines, since most projects are based on many moving parts and have many hands in the pot, its hard to be on top of all aspects such as video directors, music producers and artists and any featured artists, we all have to be on the same page in order for a product to be delivered with great quality and on time. Everyone has scheduling conflicts because we work independently and work on many projects simultaneously. It’s hard to get everyone together to make sure everyone agrees with the vision I have and making last minute changes becomes part of the plan.

Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?

I provide a very personal touch, I get involved in the artists world to try and project the best out of them, even when they sometimes don’t see the bigger picture. I provide support from the audio production with my own in house producers and my own music studio down to the visuals by organizing and creating ideas with the video directors, I do the marketing, distribution and also funding for the projects. I created a musical mansion where I have distribution office, editorial services, marketing department and a radio station and a music studio. So to get a project done we don’t need to leave the mansion, I like to make music camps here and create from the composition to the visual aspect of the project.

What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?

My only advice is work hard and no matter how many people say no or don’t see your vision try to be creative on funding sources, most people think they can’t do something because they don’t have thousands saved up, I started this with one thousand dollars in my pocket and sleeping under my desk in my office with a full-time job and persistence.

Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?

Success means to me that I have done exactly what I wanted and felt great with the outcome, it doesn’t mean I made a million dollars on a deal, although the money is a reward but it does not mean success. Success is when you reach your creative peak and are able to act on it without restrictions.

What’s next for you?

I plan on making my online radio station the best in the world not by playing music but by educating people about creative process and how the music industry works, how to make a plan for upcoming artists how to get yourself out there as an independent artist or company.
