Today we’d like to introduce you to Nikko D TooGood.

It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?

Thank you so much for the opportunity. My name is Nikko TooGood, I am originally from Washington, DC and now reside in Houston, TX. I am the C.E.O of N. D TooGood Enterprises LLC and I am the Founder and Creator of The National ” Black Authors Matter Tour”. My story really starts with always being a dreamer. Having an immense amount of vision and wanting to turn my ideas and concepts into reality. I have always wanted to live my life to certain standard and to be able to reach my professional zenith. What I never imagined was how rocky the road to success would be. I have endured many battle wounds, some self inflicted, some just growing pains and others by people having ill intent. What I have learned is that this is ALL apart of growing a business and brand is about how we handle those situations is really the key to getting the lessons out of the situations. I got here today by turning challenges into opportunities to grow and expand.

I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?

The biggest challenge is standing in my own way. This terms is very common but for me the meaning really hit different. I have had to learn to take ego, personal vendetta, greed, being a little power hungry out the picture and really channel my energy into creating a brand and business that had a level of balance.

Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?

It is all about being a visionary in my field. What sets me apart is the fact that I understand the core of the brand. Once we understand the core we can build vessels / extensions that take from the core creatively but yield and return results back in to the core. From this point the core grows and finds itself being able to expand into new horizon and height. In my eyes there is no competition there is plenty of work and room for everyone. I want to see my cohorts grow and excel and I do not mind helping in the process.

What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?

My advice would be , when you are think about what your passion will be , or what your measurement of success is, to do an introspective search and understand what brings you true joy. Take what you are passionate about and turn that spark into a full pledge flamethrower.

Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?

Success for me is about taking your formula and being able to recreate any where. Understanding that success is not measured by money but moreover positive repetition. Look at my book ” The Black Authors Matter Tour” was modeled after how I do PR. It is about giving platform . I am successful at being a publicist because I understand what my formula to acquire media is and that no matter the outlet my strategy always works. I took my same formula and took it to something else I am passionate about. I was able to create something of different variable but successful because of how my formula works. I was able to see how my strategy could prosper in different realms

What’s next for you?

We are super excited for “The Black Authors Matter Tour” we are able to create a tour after that pandemic and launch many different digital campaigns. I am so excited to be able to relaunch these things or a grander scale. I am so excited as the Tour is my business baby. It brings me so much joy to be able to give these authors a platform to sell, sign books and be able to meet readers and expand their business.
