Today we’d like to introduce you to Sonjia Pelton-Sam.

It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?

Hello!!! My name is Sonjia Pelton-Sam, also known as The GLAM Coach.
I am a wife, mother, grandmother, national speaker, eleven times best selling author, and Life & Business coach. And I seek to be a friend to everyone I meet. I hold 4 degrees. One is a counseling degree in mental health with a specialty in addiction & substance abuse. I volunteer in prisons & jails to help reduce the recidivism rate and stop repeat offenses. I am certified in Art to do therapeutic practice, and I am a Certified Teacher in the state of Texas. I also have a magazine coming out in 2020 called “GLAM Her,” and I have a Non-Profit “GLAM Factor” that helps girls & young women.

I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?

I have difficult moments as everyone does. I have many disappointments, including two divorces. My difficulties have helped me learn the ups & downs of business. I was once a single parent of 2 children. There is a list of other things that caused me to mature, allowing me to learn how to help others in life. My recent bout with cancer was the hardest thing I had to deal with. I managed to continue my career as a teacher and keep everything going with my family and business despite all the difficulties and pain I had to go through.

Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?

I am the very best at what I do. And one of the things I do is help others in the ‘game called life’ by assisting them in looking at their struggle in the face and overcoming every obstacle set before them. I have a targeted program to help change an individual’s mindset from focusing on negative things to a positive focus and help them jump the hurdles of life and win. Secondly, there is my business coaching for small businesses and entrepreneurs. I have programs and systems set up to help them grow and make money. I have a Vision Coach Certification Class, which allows me to have “one-on-one” Coaching where we actually do the work in real-time. I work with others to do such things as making graphics, workbooks, journals, or setting up someone’s custom live streams.

What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?

Real success happens when we stop looking at the competition and focus on our true calling and purpose. Greatness does not revolve around a dollar sign. True greatness revolves around fulfilling your purpose. Please never give up on your dreams and run your race with patience. You are in a race, and you must be patient to endure and win.

Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?

Success, to me, means that I have completed my assignment and achieved my goal. Success for me is when my family is happy, and I am healthy happy also.

What’s next for you?

In 2021 I plan to take the world by storm with my new magazine “GLAMHer,” Open my brand new Website that will host a vault full of free goodies for my GLAMTASTIC VIPs and get my new online show “Launch Your Vision” up and going. All of these will showcase and highlight some amazing women in business.
