Today we’d like to introduce you to Yaschica Agoro.

It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?

My story begins in a rural town of Alabama; after completion of high school, I served a decade within the US Army & Reserves as a Medic/Healthcare and Chemical Specialist. During this time, I study nursing and public health where I, obtained my Master of Public Health, and an upper graduate degree in Epidemiology. From 2003- through 2005, I started several businesses: medical recruiting, uniform store, customized t-shirt designs, and cleaning services. In 2007, I became the Chair of the Science & Mathematics Department at Selma University (SU). At SU, I developed the College of Allied Healthcare, enrolling over 400 students within a 2–4-year timeframe. In addition, I established the first hybrid CNA program within the great State of Alabama. In 2010. While at SU, I had the opportunity to participate in the Oxford University Roundtable in the United Kingdom with my research project “YEAH” Young Engaging in Activities for Health. In 2011, I resided for SU and established my own allied healthcare training institute, Selma Innovation Technology Training Institute (SITTI)(www.sittinow.com), to offer accelerated, affordable, and flexible allied healthcare training. I have trained over 1000 students for a decade, obtaining contracts with several nonprofit organizations and universities: offering courses to high school students and young adults. I have been a mentor and advisor to people for over 20 years; that is how I developed Entrepreneur’s Milestones Consultants focusing on helping others “Start a Successful Healthcare Training Business.”

I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?

My success comes with support, determination, focus, try-fail series, motivation, and dedication. I have never been afraid to take a risk; even if I fail, I regroup and try again. Yet, life has a way of tossing roadblocks or change the direction I was going. My significant challenges were the death of loved ones. I grew up in a very close-knit family. In 2010, my father had diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and passed away within six months on my little sister’s birthday. Within 12 days, one of my youngest brothers, who has severe PTSD, ended his own life. My brother and I share the same age each year for 19 days. We were very closed before he died. We would talk three (3)-four (4) times a week. , I would drive to Florida, which is a six (6) hours’ drive round trip, so I could check him into a facility. For months, I tried to save him, and the day he ended his life, he refused to talk with me. For years, this has been a challenge in my personal and professional life.; I have learned to cope with it, even though I have my moments where it is hard to cope with his death. My best coping methods are advising others, working harder than before, staying focus, and adjusting to change. I have the most fantastic support system ever *my family*; with determination, dedication, and focus, my challenges are eliminated.

Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?

I specialize in coaching others on starting their own healthcare training facility. I have over 24 years of hands-on healthcare experience from clinical to education to chairing a department to director my own successful healthcare training facility. With over 24 years in healthcare and 18 years of business experience, I possess the skills, knowledge, abilities, and occupational expertise to train and coach with any challenges that a person might face with starting or running a successful healthcare training facility. My background is remarkably diverse, including Education, Healthcare, Marketing, and Coaching, why not work with a 5-Star Plus expert and coach.

What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?

First, one must realize that you determine your own success. Success is not given, and you must work smart for it. Smart working includes having objectives with measurable goals; staying focused (if you become sidetracked, immediately getting back on track); do not procrastinate; stop dreaming and start doing, and establish an editable plan. I recommend an editable plan because you will stumble but with an editable plan, you can amend your program. In addition, motivate yourself or join groups for inspiring and support. There are millions of people encouraging and mentoring someone like you daily. Be incredibly determined and dedicate; DO NOT allow anyone to tell you what you cannot accomplish and have the mindset to stay the course. I think researching and reading are two fundamentals that help with all the above statements; it helps build and create a perspective that can conquer all objectives and goals.

Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?

Success means the ability to do what I love, help others do what they love, take risks, fail and immediately adjust to achieve the current goal or goals, adapt to change without losing my true passion, and flexibility freedom. Success is not what others think of you; it is what you feel about yourself. You measure your success by determining your own roads to travel.

What’s next for you?

Well, this new project, “Start Your Own Healthcare Training Business,” is my primary focus right now. The future goal is to take this program globally to help entrepreneurs develop top-notched healthcare training facilities. Healthcare and Education are two of the top multi-trillion-dollar industries, which are my solid foundation. I want others to establish a solid foundation in these industries. Yes, I want to become “internationally known.” Within the next five years, I will have published more guidance books and my poetry collections. Coaching entrepreneurs to establishing and growing their healthcare training facilities
