Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephen L Robinson.

It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?

Thank you! Well it was no accident how the company got to where it is today, and to be honest, the company is not far but we are a lot further than five months ago. This company started as a small idea for a T-shirt line. Originally to be called God First clothing, however, that name was already taken when I tried to register it in the state I lived in. I’ve tried several different God First names and it kept getting rejected, reminding you this was at the end of the year 2020. Rejection after rejection I decided to just leave it alone for a bit. At this time I personally was going through a very tough situation that I will not disclose at this moment but being a Christian we always say we trust God but do we really? It’s easy to trust God when things are not too bad, but it’s even harder to trust God when things look impossible to fix, turn around, etc. I was at a low point in my life again and that’s when I realized I needed a savior I realized I could not save myself, I had to trust God. I had to wholeheartedly trust God with this key fundamental thing. You have to trust that God became flesh and laid down his life for the gift of salvation. Now understanding this, that’s when God gave me the perfect name and allowed me to launch Trust God Wear.

I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?

Absolutely it has not come easily but what I will say is what I believe God is doing through me as a vessel is worth it. I have faced several challenges one of the main challenges I have had to face was trying to start this business while not having a stable place to rest my head. Due to my situation which I will not disclose, I had a stable place to stay to not having one in the blink of an eye. Try running a T-Shirt company from a motel 6 at times and an Airbnb at other times. This was a true Trust God moment. I had to trust God with my day-to-day living. Praying that I either made enough money from doordash to pay for my motel which was $40 dollars a night or hoping the funds came from elsewhere. Although things looked bad I kept wholeheartedly trusting God for a miracle. God kept sending people and resources my way and just truly kept providing for me while. Talk about overcoming a struggle. God then provided me with a stable place to lay my head, God provided me with the equipment to make the shirts on my own and people and resources who supported the vision.

Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?

The work that the company Trust God Wear does is simple; it’s the Lord’s work through T-shirts. We here at Trust God Wear just want to share the gospel with everyone we can get this shirt in front of. We are spirit lead here at Trust God Wear so we don’t believe we have competition when it comes to spreading the gospel. As the Body of Christ, we are all in it to glorify God and recognize Jesus as our Lord and savior.

What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?

Put God first. Trust God. Believe God. Obey God. We at Trust God Wear truly believe in repentance giving your life to Christ and being available to let him use you in any way he sees fit. To us, that is what we truly believe for those desiring to find success.

Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?

Great question and it’s not going to be a common answer because I look at things from a biblical view and not a world view. I believe Dr. Matthew Stevenson III lead pastor of All Nations Worship Assembly said it best in one of his sermons. Success means being available for God to use you. If we truly seek to glorify God then it’s for us to let him use us. I personally don’t believe he is impressed with cars, clothes, big houses, etc. I believe he is impressed by us opening ourselves up and allowing him to use us to do what he wants to be done on this earth. Not my will but your will.

What’s next for you?

I believe what’s next is me doing whatever it is that God wants me to do. I’m hoping that it is going to be getting back in the relationship coaching arena to help rebuild and help form Kingdom marriages. Most people know me as Stephen L Robinson Christian Relationship Coach. However, God told me to take a step back from that. So I’m hoping that’s next.
